The ones that are so round and full are said to be pregnant, their eggs are translucent and survives till the next season of "invasion"... They eat plants, thus those with lovely gardens would carry a special torch for these guys. One of my friends (who has a penchant for plants) has a special pair of scissors just to clip the slugs into half. She swears that it is the most effective way. Some also mentioned using beer to drown them but then, being in Norway, that is just waaaaaay too expensive :p
I personally think they are icky. Why? Just the way they would glide out on a limb to suck on their own kind, which got squashed under a tyre or a foot. I would have loved to take a picture and share with you guys but I think you can conjure up a visual, just fine.. Or just Youtube
